An office at Cincinnati Children’s, tagged for donation to ReSource
When Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center moved it’s executive offices earlier this year, we received a call from one of our contacts at The RCF Group, who was in charge of the move. Finding a productive use for the old furniture was important to both Children’s and RCF, and they knew that ReSource was a great option. Both Cincinnati Children’s and RCF Group have been long-standing and strong supporters of ReSource.
In January, we received 3 very nice office suites plus other furniture, and brought it to our warehouse in Sharonville. Several local nonprofit agencies are now benefiting from this generous donation. Two of these are City Gospel Mission and YMCA Camp Campbell Gard.
Pete Frasano from Camp Campbell Gard, enjoys his new office.
The YMCA’s Camp Cambell Gard has provided thousands of kids an unforgettable experience that includes adventure, fun, and friendship through summer camp activities. Pete Frasano, Executive Director of the camp, is now enjoying a nicely furnished office thanks to this donation. When asked about their new furniture, Fasano said “I think Children’s Hospital will be very happy to hear that their donated furniture still serves children. Here at camp, we serve close to 10,000 children annually.”
Doug Dunlap, the Butler County Director of City Gospel Mission’s JobsPlus program was looking for an office suite for a new office. He had furnished a previous program with help from ReSource, so he knew where to come. This program helps people like Roger, who was homeless and hurting 3 years ago. In November 2015 Roger became one of the first Butler County graduates of the JobsPlus program.
Thank you, Cincinnati Children’s and RCF Group, for your donation which makes our community stronger through these life-changing programs. ReSource is proud to serve as the conduit to connect generous corporate donors to agencies in need.
